I wish I could go back

to the point of the decision

for an opportunity to make a slight revision

of my future through my past

I wish I could go back

to the moment of indiscretion

and follow the direction

to focus on the task at hand

I wish I could take the wisdom

learned from past mistakes and erase

the very same mistake but doing so would negate

who I have become, the culmination learned from all I have done
